Your Tasks With Us

As an Accountant (all genders), you will ensure, together with the Finance team, that our operational accounting runs reliably and that our figures are correct.

• You will independently and punctually process and book ongoing business transactions in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank accounting.
• You will support the preparation of monthly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS.
• You will take care of period-appropriate accruals and provisions and perform regular account reconciliations.
• You will manage our fixed assets and the associated fixed asset accounting.
• You will check and book travel expenses as well as credit card statements.
• You will contribute when we can simplify, improve, or make existing accounting processes more efficient.

You already know operational accounting from practice and want to contribute your experience in a role where you can work independently and be part of a team at the same time.

• You have sound professional experience in accounting as well as good knowledge of accounting according to HGB; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• You are proficient in Excel and familiar with common ERP and accounting systems – ideally, you already know Sage.
• You work in a structured and careful manner and maintain an overview even with recurring tasks and fixed deadlines.
• You can process your topics independently and at the same time know when coordination within the team makes sense.
• You communicate clearly and straightforwardly and enjoy working with various contact persons.
• You have very good German and English skills.
