About Mentor Match Mentor Match is a tutoring platform focused on delivering high-quality academic support to students through personalized mentor-led sessions. We operate across multiple geographies and manage subscription-based and service-driven revenue models. Role Overview We are looking for a hands-on Finance Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting and compliance for Mentor Match. This role will handle Indian and US books, GST filings, revenue accounting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing complex financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. • Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns and other regulatory submissions. • Develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies. • Collaborate with the finance team to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed. • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions. • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. • 3+ years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. • Strong understanding of Indian and US accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements. • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
