Accountant (General Accounting & Bookkeeping) - EST Hours (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced General Accountant with strong general accounting and bookkeeping knowledge to support a U.S.-based outsourced accounting firm. This is not a job for someone who is looking for a 9-to-5 routine, as we operate on an EST schedule. We are looking for someone who is flexible, self-motivated, and able to work independently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP and be able to prepare financial statements, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, and perform other general accounting and bookkeeping tasks. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and organizational skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to maintain confidentiality.
