Job Description Fluor Engineering N.V. is an internationally renowned company, specialized in engineering and construction projects. We are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the following tasks: * Performing general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities. * Preparing financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. * Analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to support decision-making. * Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts. * Participating in audits and providing support to external auditors. * Maintaining and updating accounting records and systems. * Collaborating with other departments to gather and analyze financial information. * Ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies. * Assisting with tax filings and other regulatory requirements. * Continuously seeking ways to improve accounting processes and efficiency. Skills and Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. * At least 3 years of experience in accounting. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Bonus Points: * Experience with SAP or another ERP system. * Experience in the engineering or construction industry. * Professional accounting certification (e.g., RA, CPA).
