DLK Advisory is an accounting firm based in the Melbourne CBD. With around 30 employees and a diverse mix of expertise, we provide both traditional business advisory services and virtual CFO support to a broad range of clients.

DLK is currently looking to appoint an Accountant to perform a range of financial activities across a variety of clients.

The role is a full time opportunity guaranteed to keep you challenged. Reporting to a Principal, you will be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining trusted client relationships
• Preparing and lodging BAS, IAS, payroll tax, and superannuation obligations in line with ATO requirements
• Performing a range of complex tax and business advisory based activities for clients
• Managing a client portfolio, providing accounting, tax and business compliance support
• Analysing management accounting reports and providing advice to clients
• Delegating and reviewing work papers completed by team members
• Fostering a culture of respect, empowerment and integrity

The ideal candidate is someone with:

• 1 - 2 years+ experience working in a private practice
• Bachelor of Business and CA or CPA qualification
• Proficient knowledge of Xero and Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude
