Accountant / Credit Controller (m/w/d)

We are now looking for reinforcement for our accounting team in Germany in the area of Credit Control.

The position plays a central role in Credit Control and contributes significantly to ensuring a stable cash flow and minimizing credit risks. The tasks include independent management of accounts receivable, monitoring customer payment behavior, and compliance with internal credit guidelines.

As an interface between Finance, Sales, and Customers, the role makes a significant contribution to financial stability and sustainable growth for the QBS Technology Group.

Aufgaben

• Responsibility for managing accounts receivable and ensuring efficient accounts receivable management in compliance with internal credit guidelines
• Proactive monitoring of customer payment behavior and early identification and escalation of potential risks
• Management and regular review of credit limits, including the performance of required due diligence checks
• Clearing customer inquiries and complaints in close coordination with internal and external interfaces
• Booking and allocation of incoming payments and ensuring correct representation in systems
• Implementation of a structured reminder process, including introduction of suitable measures for payment arrears
• Maintenance and updating of customer master data in the ERP system (e.g. Business Central)
• Support in implementing credit insurance guidelines and ensuring compliance with internal standards

Qualifikation

• SUCCESSFUL completion of a commercial training or equivalent qualification
• High numerical affinity and good understanding of business relationships
• Structured, meticulous, and self-responsible working style
• Outstanding communication skills and confident demeanor in dealing with customers
• Analytical thinking and high risk awareness
• Good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
• Safe handling of MS Office (especially Excel)
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. Business Central) is an advantage
