Accountant/ Bookkeeper with Focus on O2C (m/w/d) - JN226-34

Our client is a research-oriented and globally active biotech company and belongs to the leading companies in the pharmaceutical industry. In the context of a re-staffing, we are looking for a Accountant/ Bookkeeper with focus on Order-to-Cash (m/w/d) at the location near Düsseldorf/Leverkusen.

Tasks

• Maintenance of accounts receivable (open claims against customers)
• Synchronization of customer accounts and conducting the reminder process
• Processing and monitoring of payments and bank transactions
• Preparation of regulatory reports and financial statements
• Collaboration with external service providers who take over parts of the accounting
• Support for internal and external audits
• Analysis and improvement of existing financial processes

Qualification

• Relevant professional experience in accounting, ideally in the Order-to-Cash area
• Experience in accounting, particularly accounts receivable (Accounts Receivable).
• Knowledge of SAP and Excel.
• Understanding of HGB (IFRS is a plus).
• Analytical work and careful handling of numbers.
• German and English for communication with internal and external partners.
