Accountant AA

As an Accountant AA, you are responsible and the point of contact for clients in the SME practice. You identify advisory opportunities, implement them yourself, or connect them with advisors within the office. Furthermore, you independently expand the client portfolio. You execute the delegated task package of the accounting team regarding responsibility for a defined client portfolio in the area of accountancy and administrative services.

Your role

• Provides solicited and unsolicited advice to clients
• Point of contact for all tax, organizational, financial, and personnel issues of the client
• Manages, supervises, and maintains a portion of the delegated client portfolio of the accountant
• Identifies issues within the client's organization and takes action in consultation with the accounting team
• In consultation with the accountant, monitors the planning and communicates this to the client
• Actively identifies developments in the client's industry or environment
• Contributes to expanding the client base
• Co-drafts proposals for clients
• Supervises senior assistant accountants in advisory projects with clients
• Executes the commercial and strategic policy developed by the accountant and the accounting team
• Analyzes financial statements
• Handles more complex assignments under the supervision of the accountant
• Participates in internal/external meetings applicable to this role

Who we are looking for

• In possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy (AA) and have obtained your title Accountant AA
• You have 2-10 years of experience in a compilation practice. You have experience with conducting advisory discussions with clients, or are ready for this next step;
• Dutch language at Bachelor's level
• English language at Bachelor's level
