Accountant (1 Year Contract)

Who We Are Looking For?

As an Accountant, he/she will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial accounting in accordance with statutory requirements and ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting

What Awaits You:

Manage and supervise a team of Accounts Receivable Staff
Responsible for the monthly financial closing processes and preparation and review of monthly/periodic management reports
Responsible for the preparation, review and follow of balance sheet reconciliations
Preparation of quarterly statements / year-end statutory reports and preparing of tax computation
Assist in the preparation of forecasts and budget
Ensure proper internal controls are in place and being complied
Assist with any other ad hoc projects as assigned by Finance Manager/Financial Controller

We Are Excited About You If You Have:

Minimum Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or its equivalent
5 years of relevant experience preferably in FMCG or retail industry and experience with managing a team of accounts staff
Experience in working in ERP/Oracle integrated system environment
Self-driven, highly energetic and committed individual who can work well under pressure and within tight deadlines
Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Commercial Focus
Leadership qualities
Meticulous and eye for details
Proficient in MS office
Strong spreadsheet skills is a must
Supervisory skills
Good knowledge of financial reporting
Decision making skills
Ability to multi task
