The Role
As an Account Manager (M/F) based in Montpellier with remote work, you will be responsible for the success of your portfolio of strategic accounts in the city of Montpellier and its metropolitan area, in order to implement the most relevant tools for our users. You will report directly to the City Manager Lead.
Your main responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of key restaurants in Montpellier and its metropolitan area, requiring real expertise and close attention.
- Build a privileged and lasting partnership by bringing your Food Tech expertise, as an expert in your zone/city.
- Optimize the profitability of your portfolio and offer personalized, long-term support backed by data.
- Analyze the performance of your portfolio and take appropriate action. Make direct recommendations to the City Manager Lead, demonstrate agility and openness to new ideas. Deliveroo is a company in motion, with tools and options to deploy at a rapid pace.
- Suggest and implement marketing and promotional campaigns tailored to your portfolio.
- Closely monitor operations to optimize the experience for both partner restaurants and customers.
- Regularly visit your partners in Montpellier to maintain proximity and trust, while working remotely on a daily basis with your teams.
Your Experience and Qualities
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to negotiate, anticipate commercial discussions, and take the necessary actions to maintain a quality portfolio (contractual discussions, negotiation of commercial tools, etc.) and achieve objectives (OKRs).
- Ability to maintain control of your Partner portfolio, observe local market trends, and provide real-time feedback to your partners and manager.
- Field expertise: close to your partners, you conduct qualitative competitive intelligence on your portfolio and the Montpellier market.
- Ability to convince and influence your partners to achieve set objectives, while respecting Deliveroo's values.
- Proactivity and ability to draw conclusions from the results of your actions to make relevant recommendations to your City Manager Lead.
- Quick understanding and adoption of objectives to be achieved, with autonomy and determination.
- Ability to implement personalized actions consistent with partner needs and managerial directives.
