HAYLO People are partnering with a respected insurance brokerage in Brisbane to recruit an Account Manager.

This is a key role managing a stable and profitable portfolio of clients with the opportunity to drive both growth and retention in a high-performing team.

Location: Brisbane (CBD)

The Role:

Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
Ensure clients’ insurance needs are met through tailored coverage and expert advice
Collaborate with underwriters to deliver competitive solutions
Provide risk management guidance and insights
Maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal teams
Support new business growth through cross-sell and referrals
Stay current on market conditions and industry updates

About You:

Tier 1 qualification in Insurance Broking, or Tier 2 with an interest in working towards Tier 1
3+ years’ experience in commercial broking, as a broker or an assistant broker (SME or mid-market)
Strong understanding of the general insurance market
Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
A driven, down-to-earth communicator who thrives in a collaborative setting
Passionate about broking and motivated to deliver exceptional outcomes
Able to manage competing priorities and deadlines without compromising on quality
