Job description
Job SUMMARY Develops long-term industry relationships resulting in continued, profitable sales growth. Responsible and accountable for meeting the individual and team sales and marketing goals agreed with their sales manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Obtains, updates and demonstrates detailed industry, Company, competitor and product knowledge. * Designs and implements a sales plan that will achieve the sales goals detailed above. * Identifies and develops sales opportunities within an assigned territory. * Establishes and maintains excellent relationships with key accounts and dealer principles. * Provides timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports. * Effectively manages dealer-related communications including training and marketing material distribution. * Attends industry trade shows and events. * Develops and maintains detailed dealer profiles. * Resolves dealer issues and concerns, utilizing Company resources as necessary. * Maintains a high level of professionalism in all interactions with dealers, internal departments, and the public. * Ensures compliance with all Company policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A.) from four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in dealer sales is preferred. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Other Skills and Abilities * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to travel as required.
