Context The SEO department at WPP Media is accelerating its technical and product transformation. We are looking for a Senior Technical SEO Consultant capable of taking charge of our most complex accounts while structuring our internal assets.

Missions

Management of Complex SEO Accounts

• Take strategic and operational responsibility for key accounts (e-commerce, international, multi-market).
• Structure and manage SEO roadmaps with a long-term vision, in line with client business objectives.
• Be the reference point on the agency side: ensure the quality of deliverables, the fulfillment of commitments, and the measurable progression of performance.

Strategic Consulting and Client Relations

• Lead strategic committees with clients, in a senior consulting capacity, not execution.
• Identify growth opportunities (upsell, new SEO/GEO topics, Search synergies).
• Demystify technical recommendations for non-expert stakeholders (marketing, e-commerce, digital departments).

Mentoring and Structuring

• Mentor and develop the skills of SEO consultants on the accounts they are responsible for.
• Contribute to the formalization of departmental methodologies and best practices.
• Participate in innovation projects (GEO/LLM, AI applied to SEO) without being the sole technical expert.

Development and Cross-functionality

• Work in coordination with SEA, Data, and Analytics teams for integrated Search strategies.
• Contribute to pitches and responses to tenders for strategic accounts.

Experience and Skills

• 6 to 10 years of experience in SEO, with a significant portion in an agency on enterprise-level accounts.
• Solid mastery of SEO fundamentals: technical (crawl, indexation, Core Web Vitals), semantic, and performance.
• Comfortable with reference tools (Screaming Frog, Semrush, Ahrefs, GSC, GA4) without necessarily mastering development.
• Prior exposure to GEO/LLM topics and the evolution of SERPs (AI Overviews, Search Generative Experience) is a real asset.

Attitude and Soft Skills

• Strong client focus: ability to manage senior client-side stakeholders with ease and conviction.
• Natural leadership on their accounts, without needing validation at each step.
• Pedagogical skills: can make complex recommendations clear for a non-technical audience.
• Collaborative spirit with internal teams (SEA, data, product).
• Fluent professional English, both written and spoken.

What Will Make the Difference

• Experience in multi-market or multi-brand environments.
• Ability to lead pre-sales initiatives and contribute to pitches.
• Sincere interest in Search transformations (AI, LLM, integrated Search).
