Tasks

Your Tasks

As Department Head Rental & Contracting LBK (m/w/d), you will be responsible for the economic and organizational operation of the rental business in accordance with John Deere's specifications. You will ensure the utilization, availability, and achievement of sales and margin targets and ensure the uniform implementation of defined processes. Through structured control of the rental fleet and processes, you will contribute to the optimal use of the machine stock, support sales, and ensure high customer satisfaction.

This position is sought for our location in Gerichshain. Our locations can be found on our homepage.

Main Tasks:

• Leadership and control of the entire rental area, including personnel planning
• Planning and monitoring of utilization, sales, margin, and inventory structure of the rental fleet
• Establishment of rental conditions, price guidelines, and offer standards in accordance with company specifications
• Ensuring proper contract processing and correct system and documentation maintenance
• Coordination of machine availability, handover, return, and technical readiness in coordination with the workshop, spare parts, and logistics
• Monitoring of compliance with internal guidelines, safety requirements, and compliance requirements
• Analysis of key figures for the control of rental performance and derivation of suitable measures

Secondary Tasks:

• Supporting sales and customer service in projects with rental components
• Participation in the development of processes and standards in the rental business

Qualification

• Completed vocational training in a commercial, technical, or agricultural field with further education in management or comparable qualification
• Multiple years of experience in the rental, machine, or sales field, ideally with leadership responsibility
• Good knowledge of the machine economy and rental business
• Experience in controlling utilization, margin, and inventory
• Structured, responsible, and entrepreneurial working style
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Familiarity with common IT, CRM, and ERP systems is an advantage
