Department Head (m/w/d) Examination Office

The Chamber of Public Accountants (WPK) represents as a statutory supreme organization in self-government the interests of all approximately 21,000 public accountants, sworn auditors, auditing firms and accounting firms in Germany vis-à-vis politics and the public, both nationally and internationally. Organized as a federal-independent corporate body under public law with seat in Berlin and around 135 employees who are committed on an honorary basis to the WPK's statutory tasks and responsibilities, including but not limited to: * Conducting examinations and inspections of auditing firms and accounting firms; * Issuing certificates and licenses for auditors and accountants; * Developing and implementing guidelines and standards for auditing and accounting practices; * Providing training and continuing education programs for auditors and accountants; * Representing the interests of the profession vis-à-vis politics, the public, and other stakeholders. The WPK is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to lead its Examination Office as Department Head (m/w/d).
