Head of Assembly and Service Department*

Lead Technology. Manage Deployments. Improve Structures.

You will be responsible for the assembly and service organization and ensure that demanding customer projects are implemented safely, economically, and reliably.

Responsibilities

Your Task

• Leadership of senior employees and teams in site deployment
• Deployment planning for personnel, tools, and technical equipment
• Coordination of multiple simultaneous customer projects
• Management of deadlines, costs, capacities, and execution quality
• Improvement of collaboration between assembly, project teams, specialist departments, and external partners
• Development of practical processes and binding standards
• Organization of required training, certifications, and proof of qualifications
• Ensuring occupational safety, permits, and legal requirements
• Digitalization and key figure-based further development of the department

Qualifications

Your Profile

• Several years of leadership and project experience in industrial assembly environments
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• preferably a Technician or Master Craftsman with several years of leadership experience in mechanical/plant engineering
• Practical experience in process engineering plant construction
• Proficiency in resource, schedule, and cost planning and the use of relevant planning tools
• Good knowledge of relevant German occupational safety and accident prevention regulations
• Structured approach to work, decisiveness, and entrepreneurial thinking
• Clear communication and the ability to bring different stakeholders together
• Proficient in MS Office
• Willingness to travel and German and English language skills at C1 level
