Tasks

• Leadership responsibility for a specialized civil engineering team in the building materials sector.
• Care of business and key customers in the civil engineering sector, including all sales tasks and management of supplier relationships, procurement, and price negotiations in warehouse and project business.
• Project-related offer calculations, follow-up, and order security.
• Collaboration with site management and central purchasing for strategic and operational alignment of civil engineering at the site or in the sales region.
• Pursuing customer relationships and building customer and industry contacts.
• Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, as well as organizing and conducting marketing, training, and specialist events.
• Promoting ideas for product range and sales strategy in the sales region with simultaneous responsibility for inventory management and ensuring efficient goods management (regional warehouse) including procurement.

Qualification

• SUCCESSFUL completion of a commercial or technical training program or degree in the construction or trade sector, or similar qualifications.
• Leadership experience is desirable.
• Multiple years of experience in sales of building materials in civil engineering (canal and road construction, garden and landscape construction) preferably from project or object business.
• Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking, high degree of self-responsibility.
• Able to motivate oneself and team in the building materials sector.
• Strong customer orientation, assertiveness, teamwork.
• Result- and goal-oriented thinking in sales.
• Safe handling of ERP and Office tools.
• German language skills at a native speaker level.
