Take Off with Modell Aachen

You've always wanted to know what it feels like to fly an airplane yourself, or are you already a passionate flyer? You love the view from above just as much as we do? Then we would like to invite you to share this experience with us.

On Tuesday, May 5, 2026, you have the chance to fly an airplane yourself and get to know Modell Aachen GmbH in this context.

Why do we do this?

We neither train pilots nor build aircraft. Our intention is quite simple: We want to get to know students and graduates in a relaxed atmosphere and get in contact with you. In 2015, we organized a house run in this context, in 2016 a hot air balloon ride and in the past years a flight event. This year we invite you again to fly an airplane yourself. Of course, we cover the costs of the activities for you. We also organize the transfer to the airfield and back.

You can expect:

• an unforgettable flying experience with a professional flight instructor, where you can take the controls yourself
• an exciting presentation on the topic of "aerodynamics and control of an aircraft"
• various team challenges on the ground
• Getting to know Modell Aachen GmbH
• joint BBQ with Modell Aachen employees

Who we are looking for:

• Students and graduates who are interested in the fields of management consulting or software development
• Students and graduates of engineering, computer science or economics
• Whether Bachelor's or Master's degree, whether permanent employment, trainee, internship or student job, we are always looking for reinforcements!
