Job Title: Abattoir Cleaner

Location: Bristol (own transport required due to rural location of site and working hours)

Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour

Working Hours: Start time: 6:45am, Finish: Around 5:00pm (depending on workload each day) - Average 35 – 40 hours per week

Duration: Ongoing temporary work with potential to become permanent

Role Overview:

We are currently recruiting an Abattoir Cleaner for our client based near Bristol. This role involves ensuring high levels of hygiene and cleanliness across the site in accordance with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cleaning all areas of the abattoir to a high standard

- Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely

- Following strict hygiene, health and safety, and biosecurity protocols

- Ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on time

- Reporting any maintenance or hygiene issues to the supervisor

Requirements:

- Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a food production or abattoir environment (training can be provided)

- Physically fit and comfortable with a demanding cleaning role

- Reliable and punctual

- Own transport essential due to rural location and working hours
