Today, they find themselves at a crucial moment in their further growth: the assortment is being further built out, international collaborations are being strengthened, and internal structures are professionalizing along with it. To support this growth sustainably, the procurement team is being reinforced with extra seniority – a role with clear impact, autonomy, and room to really set direction. In this role, you will take a key position within the procurement team and actively contribute to further growth and professionalization of the assortment. You build and maintain international supplier relationships, so that a sustainable and competitive sourcing network emerges. You negotiate with suppliers in Europe and Asia over price, quality, and cooperation, focusing on long-term partnerships. You analyze and optimize the existing product range, ensuring the offer remains commercially relevant and profitable. You detect new product opportunities and market trends, closely aligned with sales, category management, and product management. You follow tenders and commercial dossiers and translate agreements into market-clear proposals. You represent the organization at (international) trade fairs, so that market insights and supplier networks are further strengthened. You work closely with internal stakeholders such as procurement, sales, and marketing to underpin price strategies and product introductions. You bring experience and maturity to a commercial procurement role within consumer goods and feel at home in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. You have experience in international procurement and supplier negotiations, preferably also outside the EU. You combine a strong analytical ability with smooth interaction with data and tools such as Excel, BI reporting, and presentations. You communicate clearly and persuasively and build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You work fluently in Dutch and English; extra languages are an added value in international context. You take ownership, work independently, and bring structure and calm to a growing organization.
