9013 Automotive Mechanical Designer

We are looking for an Automotive Mechanical Designer (9013) to join our team. This position is responsible for designing and developing systems and components of lighting that meet specifications and internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Main functions:

• Responsible for analyzing 3D models and engineering drawings from other sources to evaluate their technical viability.
• Responsible for collaborating with electrical engineers, software developers, and others interested in integrating mechanical and electrical systems smoothly.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining detailed documentation, including design specifications, DFMEA, open issue lists, test plans, and technical reports.
• Responsible for creating clear and detailed presentation materials to communicate complex engineering concepts to multifunctional team members.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical design for the automotive industry.
• Mastery of CAD software CATIA.
• Experience in plastic injection molding.
• Automotive lighting is a plus.
• Experience in finite element analysis (FEA) and strength calculations.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing technologies applicable to the automotive industry.
• Able to work in multifunctional teams and collaborate effectively with other departments.
• Capacity to manage projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Intermediate English (B2)

Desirable:

• Knowledge of suspension system, transmission, or similar design.
• Experience in quality standards for the automotive industry (ISO, IATF).
