8082 - Junior Automotive Designer

ALTEN México, part of the ALTEN Group, is a leader in engineering and technology consulting, offering specialized services to various industrial sectors. We are looking for a junior automotive designer to join our team and participate in the creation of innovative solutions in the automotive field. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about design and want to develop themselves in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

As a Junior Automotive Designer, you will work alongside senior engineers and other designers in the development of automotive components, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in various areas of automotive design.

Responsibilities:

• Creation and updating of interior and exterior designs in 2D/3D.
• Assistance in creating, reviewing, and documenting material lists.
• SUPPORT IN RESOLVING DESIGN DISCREPANCIES.
• Ensuring the integrity of data within CAD tools and electrical systems.
• Participation in design reviews and vehicle integration forums
• Performance evaluations using SimSolid from Altair.

Requirements:

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or related field.
• Mastery of Siemens NX, TEAMCENTER, SIMSOLID, CAE.
• Fundamentals of SAE electrical wiring design.
• Plastics (interior + exterior).
• Demonstrated desire to learn and grow in the field of automotive design.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work as a team.
• Strong attention to detail and quality in work.
• Intermediate-Advanced English
