8059 Supervisor HVAC Lead
Job description
ALTEN México, a leading engineering consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Lead to join our team. With a dynamic presence across various industries, including Automotive, Energy, and Aeronautics, we pride ourselves on delivering innovative engineering solutions and support.
As the HVAC Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of HVAC systems across multiple projects. You will play a key role in ensuring that systems meet all performance, safety, and regulatory standards while managing project timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- The HVAC Lead Ensures the correct functioning and maintenance of HVAC systems, both in clean and non-classified areas.
- Plans, coordinates, supervises, and controls all activities related to HVAC, from the review of detailed engineering to the startup and delivery of the project to the end user, ensuring that strict quality and safety standards required by the pharmaceutical industry, and applicable norms are met.
- Ensures that quality air requirements, temperature, humidity, and differential pressure are met. For classified areas, ensures that requirements are met in accordance with FEUM, NOM-059, ISPE, Sanofi standards.
- Ensures that suitable equipment and components are selected for HVAC systems.
- Develops detailed technical specifications and plans for the installation and maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Coordinates installation and startup activities with other engineering teams, contractors, maintenance personnel, and stakeholders.
- Coordinates the execution and review of all documentation related to HVAC systems.
- Supervises the execution of work, ensuring that quality, safety, and regulatory standards are met.
- Manages human and material resources necessary to carry out HVAC tasks efficiently.
- Participates in commissioning, qualification, and validation tests, as required, and provides support to qualification and validation groups, as well as Engineering and Maintenance to ensure a successful startup and knowledge transfer.
- Ensures that all technical documentation associated with HVAC systems and components (plans, diagrams, technical and functional specifications, etc.) is generated and accounted for, and performs a successful knowledge transfer by training and delivering information to end users.
- Participates in decision-making related to HVAC system management, considering technical, economic, and regulatory aspects.
- Knowledge of national and international regulations applicable.
Requirements
- Civil, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineer.
- Medical or food industry experience.
- Tech experience in HVAC systems, mainly in clean areas for the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in reviewing and understanding technical documentation for HVAC systems (calculations, engineering, diagrams, specifications, etc.), experience in installation and startup of HVAC systems, mainly in the pharmaceutical industry.
