(4020) Electrical Design Engineer - Senior

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with high-level expertise and extensive experience in developing projects related to automation. The position requires availability for travel both within the Mexican Republic and abroad.

The professional will be responsible for designing and electrical engineering, as well as pneumatic engineering, of control panels and field devices, as well as technical follow-up during manufacturing and assembly stages. They will collaborate closely with the areas of Purchasing, Manufacturing, Assembly, and Engineering, providing technical support and ensuring the correct execution of projects in accordance with applicable safety standards and regulations.

In addition, they will play a key role in coordinating with suppliers and clients, actively participating in technical meetings, document preparation, and result delivery.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

• Advanced Eplan software management
• Knowledge of Macros Eplan
• Experience in creating CAD drawings for electrical cabinets ProPanel (at least intermediate level)
• Autocad and Autocad Electrical management
• Experience with processes involving robots in welding (Spot Welding and MIG)
• Detailed electrical and pneumatic engineering design
• Schematic diagrams of cells (Power, Control & Safety, Networks)
• Detailed engineering in American and European standards (labeling, nomenclatures, cable calibers, component connection)
• Component list (BOM) for electric-neumatic cells
• Knowledge for trajectories and part lists for molds in manufacturing cells
• Calculation of electrical consumption, pneumatic consumption, and safe distances
• Experience in automotive processes (MIG/Spot/Laser welding, Riveting/Dispensing/Material handling)
• Knowledge for selecting motors, frequency converters, and starters
• Knowledge for selecting PLCs, standard families, and safety categories (mainly Siemens and Allen Bradley).
• Knowledge of machine safety (Categories, Performance Level) for equipment selection

• Knowledge of UL standards
• Knowledge of Preplanning Eplan
• Experience in developing robotic production cells
• Experience or knowledge in positioning devices (turntables), and grippers for robots.
• Experience in participating in risk analysis
• Knowledge for selecting motor starters and frequency converters
