Responsibilities and Tasks of the Function

Professional responsible for operating and programming 3D measurement equipment, ensuring precision in inspecting parts and components, preparing dimensional reports, and validating instruments according to company quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and program a 3D measurement machine (CMM) automatic HEXAGON Model: Performance, using software PC-DMIS 2017;
  • Operate and program an arm with scanner HEXAGON Model: Absolute, using software POLIWORKS 2017;
  • Interpret technical drawings 2D and apply concepts of GD&T (Dimensioning and Geometric Tolerance);
  • Prepare dimensional reports;
  • Validate calibrated instruments using the web system TRESCAL;
  • Support quality, engineering, and production areas in analyzing the dimensional analysis of components.

Required Qualifications

  • Techincal degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, Mechatronics or related fields;
  • Experience in operating and programming 3D measurement machines and arms with scanners;
  • Knowledge of software PC-DMIS and POLIWORKS (version 2017 or higher);
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings (GD&T);
  • Experience in preparing dimensional reports;
  • Knowledge of calibration and validation processes for instruments.

Additional Requirements

  • Experience in automotive or manufacturing companies;
  • Techincal English for reading manuals;
  • Organization, attention to details, and proactivity.
