ConsultANZ is seeking a proactive Environmental Advisor to manage environmental constraints on a major project. This role involves ensuring compliance with environmental policies, overseeing sustainability strategies, and supporting bidding activities for large-scale projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assess surrounding environments and report findings.
Manage noise, dust, and silt control measures on site.
Implement and oversee risk management systems for environmental impact.
Conduct environmental audits to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Develop and implement environmental sustainability strategies and action plans.
Track progress towards environmental goals using data and reporting systems.
Lead a team of Environmental Officers, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to address environmental concerns.

REQUIREMENTS:

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (Environmental Engineering or similar).
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in environmental management, preferably in power, transmission, energy, or renewables projects.
In-depth knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and standards.
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Experience with environmental auditing, compliance assessments, and sustainability reporting.
Proficient in environmental management software and data analysis tools.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex environmental data.
