Your Mission

You are the technical control center between our customers and the complex IT challenges of everyday life. As a 2nd Level Support Engineer, you analyze, resolve, and maintain — with head, experience, and genuine engagement.

Tasks

This is what's expected of you

Support & Troubleshooting: Processing complex tickets from the 1st Level — network, server, M365, VPN, firewall & more. Error analysis with modern RMM- and monitoring tools. Independent error correction

System Administration: Maintenance of Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft 365, Azure, Hyper-V/Proxmox, user management, patch management, backup control, and monitoring

Customer Support & Communication: Direct technical support and consultation for our customers, clear communication — even on complex topics

Security & Compliance: MFA setup, endpoint security, vulnerability treatment. Collaboration in security incidents and DSGVO topics

Project Support: Migrations, cloud projects, Microsoft-365 rollouts, and firewall changes

Qualification

This is what you bring with you

Completed IT training (e.g. Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or comparable experience

Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft environments (AD, M365, Azure, Exchange Online)

Basic knowledge of network technology (VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, firewall)

Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V or Proxmox)

Analytical thinking and structured working method

Customer orientation and professional appearance
