(24) General Practitioner (F/H) Palliative Care

The functions or titles are declaimed in both feminine and masculine forms. We are recruiting a General Practitioner, oriented towards Palliative Care, to integrate a reference oncology pole. This position is crucial and inscribes itself within the will for continuous development of palliative care within the structure (currently 12 identified beds). You will work closely with oncologists and the medical staff of the establishment.

Main Missions
You will ensure global patient care, focusing on:

Clinical Activity: Ensure medical follow-up of hospitalized patients, evaluate and manage pain and all symptoms (physical, psychological, social, spiritual). You will participate in developing and coordinating individualized therapeutic projects and ensure accompaniment of patients at the end of life and their loved ones.

Multidisciplinary Work: Collaborate transversally with oncology, polyvalent medicine, and nephrology. You will actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings (RCP) and lead service staffs. You will ensure coordination with support services (psychologists, social assistants).

Quality and Projects: Be a driving force for developing palliative care culture within the establishment. You will actively participate in quality approach, evaluating professional practices, and the Ethics Committee.

Supervision/Training: Participate in training professionals (IFSI, network) and ensure regular personal continuous training.

Conditions and Benefits
Status: Full-time salaried employee (forfait days regime).

Obligations: A peaceful schedule that will pass to one every four weeks after your recruitment.

Diploma: You hold a Doctorate in Medicine and are necessarily registered with the Order of Physicians.
