GENERAL PRACTITIONER (M/F) PALLIATIVE CARE
Job description

Functions or titles are presented in both feminine and masculine forms. We are recruiting a General Practitioner, oriented in Palliative Care to join a leading oncology department. This position is crucial and is part of the continuous development of palliative care within the facility (currently 12 identified beds). You will work in close collaboration with oncologists and the medical staff of the establishment.
Main Missions
You will ensure the comprehensive care of patients, focusing on:
Clinical Activity: Ensure the medical follow-up of hospitalized patients, assess and manage pain and all symptoms (physical, psychological, social, spiritual). You will participate in the development and coordination of the individualized therapeutic project and ensure the support of end-of-life patients and their loved ones.
Multidisciplinary Work: Collaborate transversally with oncology, general medicine, and nephrology. You will actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings (RCP) and lead departmental staff meetings. You will ensure coordination with support services (psychologists, social worker).
Quality and Projects: Be proactive in developing a palliative culture within the establishment. You will actively participate in the quality assurance process, the evaluation of professional practices, and the Ethics Committee.
Management/Training: Participate in the training of professionals (IFSI, network) and ensure regular personal continuous training.
Conditions and Benefits
Status: Full-time Employee (day-based package).
On-call duties: A calm on-call schedule that will transition to one week in 4 after your recruitment.
Benefits: 5 weeks of annual leave and approximately 18 additional days off. Access to benefits from the Social and Economic Committee (CSE) and possibility of on-site catering. We are looking for a professional who shares a commitment to excellence and humanity.
Diploma: You hold a Doctorate in Medicine and are imperatively registered with the Order of Physicians.
