In order to form a medical team of two practitioners, we are looking for a General Practitioner or Geriatrician (M/F). Working in tandem with the already-in-place physician, you will ensure the continuous medical care of patients hospitalized in the healthcare department.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure the overall medical follow-up of patients admitted to the medicine unit (10 beds) and to the Medical and Rehabilitation Care - SMR (25 beds) shared between the 2 physicians.
- Lead the gradual re-autonomization of patients with multiple pathologies or elderly patients after an acute phase of hospitalization.
- Manage the care of complex pain and palliative care support, in synergy with the multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in service development projects (day hospital, specialized outpatient consultations according to your interests).
Organization and working conditions:
- Working hours: Full-time preferred (part-time open to consideration from 0.5 FTE).
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM (flexible hours).
- On-call duties and standby: No on-call duties. Standby shared amicably with local doctors (6 PM - 8 AM/9 AM). Relay provided by the Centre 15 during deep night hours. Very rare calls thanks to a well-established organization and remote access to patient records.
- Leave: 5 weeks of paid leave and 19 RTT days (pro-rata to working hours), planned in consultation with your colleague.
Salary and benefits:
- Attractive salary under the Motif 2 status (if eligible) up to €119K gross per year (excluding standby).
- Dedicated medical secretary to lighten the administrative workload.
- Reserved underground parking and possibility of on-site catering at a preferential rate. This position is for a practitioner wishing to combine a diverse medical practice, in direct contact with care teams and patients, with a balanced and serene work environment.
- Medical Doctor degree (General Medicine or Geriatrics).
- Mandatory registration with the National Council of Medical Orders in France (CNOM).
- Additional training or experience in geriatrics, functional rehabilitation, or elderly patient care (DU in Geriatrics / Elderly) will be highly appreciated. Continuing education opportunities are supported by the institution.
Human and professional qualities:
Ability to work in a medical partnership and in close interaction with paramedical and multidisciplinary teams.
Aptitude for the overall care of elderly or fragile individuals, integrating medical, functional, and ethical dimensions.
