(24) GENERAL PRACTITIONER / GERIATRIST (M/F)

Situated in Dordogne, a specialized healthcare center for Alzheimer's disease and related diseases, this establishment with high notoriety offers a peaceful living environment while benefiting from the proximity of a major economic and medical hub in the department, equipped with complete health infrastructure, quality educational establishments, and rich cultural life. In the context of its development, this establishment is seeking a full-time general practitioner or geriatrician with a psycho-geriatric orientation (M/F) within a team of four doctors and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams from different services: Memory Consultation Territory Day Care for Alzheimer's patients aged 22, including 10 places for young patients. Cognitive-Behavioral Support Platform (SMR) with 12 beds. Residential Home for the Elderly (EHPAD) with 52 beds, including 14 beds in the Enhanced Accommodation Unit (UHR). Under the responsibility of the chief doctor, your main missions will be:

• Design and pilot the care project in line with the establishment's strategy.
• Ensure the quality of medical care for residents.
• Diagnose, prevent, and treat patient afflictions.
• Participate in after-hours care and regulatory instances.
• Supervise and accompany healthcare teams.
• Conduct consultations and develop medical diagnoses.
• Define and implement individualized care projects.

Conditions of exercise:

• Full-time CDI contract
• Obligations: 1 evening per week and 1 weekend per month (flexible and shared).
• Installation premium of €1500 for a position that requires a relocation of at least 100 km.
• Gross salary ranging from €90,000 to €96,000 per year.
• 5 weeks of paid leave + 12 days RTT.
• Mutual health insurance coverage at 85% by the employer with CSE participation.

A doctorate in medicine, specialization in geriatrics and psycho-geriatric orientation are desired. Complementary diplomas appreciated: DU in Gerontology, DU in Psychogeriatrics, Gerontology or DESC in Geriatrics. Experience is desired in an establishment and/or among patients with cognitive disorders. Skills in gerontology, geriatrics, psycho-geriatrics, and care for neurodegenerative diseases. Communication skills and teamwork abilities. Analytical, synthetic, and decision-making capabilities. Listening skills and ability to work as a team.
