What if, as an experienced electrician, you not only work on traffic installations but also take charge of challenging realization projects in the field? At BAM Infra Techniek en Assetmanagement, you will have the opportunity to grow into the role of 1st Electrician Traffic Installations. You will remain close to the technology but also gain responsibility for leading teams, monitoring planning and quality, and realizing projects from start to finish.

Make it possible

• You will lead teams of electricians and ground crews and be the point of contact at the project location.
• You will coordinate the execution of realization projects and monitor planning, quality, and safety.
• You will participate in the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of various traffic installations, such as DVM, OVL, VRI, movable barriers, ice detection systems, and wet infrastructure installations.
• You will coordinate personnel, materials, and equipment with the foreman and work preparation.
• You will identify additional and less work, solve technical challenges, and report on progress.

Specialist or generalist? You choose! Within our realization projects, you can specialize in a specific type of traffic installation or utilize your broad experience as a generalist. This way, you will further develop yourself while adding value to various projects in the field.

Your team

You will become part of BAM Infra Techniek en Assetmanagement, department Traffic Systems, our BAM backbone that keeps the Netherlands safe and accessible. From DVM to wet infrastructure installations, from OVL to movable barriers: we carry out projects in various systems and offer space to specialize or deploy your broad knowledge. Together, we are building a sustainable and safe infrastructure.

You will work in a close-knit team of skilled specialists, work planners, and project management. Everything will be arranged so that you can concentrate on realizing projects in the field. Materials and tools are well-arranged, and our team leaders are ready to assist you with other matters.

You recognize yourself in this

• Experience as an electrician in the realization of traffic installations.
• Ambition to grow into a leading role at the project location.
• Independent, responsible, and solution-oriented.
• MBO (vocational education) training in electrical engineering (level 2 or higher) and relevant certifications (NEN 1010, NEN 3140, VCA, BHV).
• Driver's license and flexibility to work on projects, primarily in the Randstad (Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam).
