Lead Production Employee

Fun, technical and varied work. You'll certainly have that as a Lead Production Employee at IBN's production business unit in Oss. From packaging operation sets, repacking forklift parts, packaging foodstuffs to assembling designer lamps, heat exchanger units, folding campers and electric mopeds: we do it all. You ensure that the work in your team runs smoothly. And with your attitude and the way you interact with others, you are an example to your colleagues.

This is what you will do as a Lead Employee
Together with a team of ten to forty production employees, you will perform inbound, repackaging, or packaging work or assembly work for appealing clients. In consultation with the team leader, you organize the daily production work that your team does for these clients. This way, you ensure a good distribution of tasks among your colleagues. And you perform random quality checks on the work. You also help with production yourself.

Everyone in the team is highly motivated to deliver good work. But for most colleagues, work is not a given. They need extra guidance. As a Lead Employee, you help them by clearly explaining what they are going to do and providing technical instructions where necessary. You speak respectfully to your colleagues. And when you perform production tasks yourself, you work neatly and accurately. This way, you are an example to the team.

This is what we offer you as a Lead Employee

• A gross monthly salary between € 2,718 and € 3,306 based on 40 hours per week.
• A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent contract.
• 8% holiday allowance.
• Travel allowance from 6 kilometers (21 cents per kilometer for a maximum of 30 kilometers one way).
• At least 24 vacation days annually if you work full-time.
• 3.5 rostered days off annually if you work full-time. These can be scheduled by IBN.

Your team
IBN's production business unit has locations in Oss, Veghel, and Cuijk. Additionally, there are teams that work at client locations. We collaborate with clients such as Medica, Daelmans, Hero, Pro Develop, Holtkamper, Plintenfabriek, Spierings Mobile Cranes, Moooi, Kühne & Nagel, Sligro, Berco, Hyster-Yale, and Marel.

You will work in a team at our location in Oss and/or at our client's location (Oss region).

Here you will direct the daily activities, participate in the work, provide input to the team leader, and be the point of contact in the absence of the team leader, while also performing light administrative tasks. Here you will work with motivated colleagues who often have a distance to the labor market. Together, you will carry out all sorts of labor-intensive production processes for clients in every imaginable industry.

This is you
You readily take the initiative to organize things well with an eye for the client's needs. You can quickly switch between the support requests of different colleagues. And when your team is asked to do a lot at once, you maintain an overview. You also enjoy working with people who have a distance to the labor market.

Furthermore, you have:

• VMBO level (secondary vocational education).
• Interest in/affinity with technology.
• Experience with a coordinating role in a production environment.
• Experience or interest in working with people with a distance to the labor market.
• Preferably experience with Lean Six Sigma and basic knowledge of Excel.
