Vision for Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and qualified 1:1 Tutor to support secondary SEND students in the Widnes area who require further assistance accessing education. This is a rewarding opportunity for tutors who are able to be flexible and who can tailor Maths and English lessons to meet individual needs, whilst working toward students achieving their targets. Sessions may take place in a variety of settings which means you must be able to travel. Whilst part time, there is an opportunity for increased hours for the right 1:1 tutor.

Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, TEFL, TESOL, BA Ed etc.)
• Experience working with SEND pupils
• Strong understanding of the secondary curriculum
• Commitment to regular, scheduled tutoring sessions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, flexible, and learner-centred teaching style
