0140 - IT Project Manager

ALTEN México, a leading company in the field of engineering and technological consulting, is seeking a Project Manager to join our innovative team. At ALTEN, we work on various technological projects that cover industries such as automotive, financial, telecommunications, and more, offering tailored solutions for our clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating the agile development process, training and guiding teams, eliminating impediments, and promoting the use of standards and best practices. Additionally, you will have the mission to manage projects under agile and traditional methodologies, ensuring the correct execution and delivery of products aligned with business objectives.

• Organize and facilitate agile ceremonies: daily meetings, planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to manage the backlog and ensure timely completion.
• Manage estimation and forecasting of user stories to guarantee understanding of requirements.
• Identify and resolve impediments affecting team progress.
• E nsure that product iterations are tested and released under an agile framework.
• Track traditional projects (Waterfall), providing transparency on progress and risks.
• Promote the agile culture and best practices within the team.

Requirements

• Project management under Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies.
• Management of tools: Jira, Trello, MS Project.
• Knowledge in effort estimation, sprint planning, and backlog management.
• Familiarity with software development processes and project lifecycle.
• Ability to generate progress reports, metrics, and KPIs.
• Competence in risk management and change control.
• Use of collaborative tools: Confluence, Teams, Slack
• Intermediate/High-level English.
