0129 - Supply Chain Specialist / SAP Material Planner

At Alten Mexico we are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist with experience in material planning and SAP proficiency, to join a project within the automotive sector. The ideal person will have a solid understanding of supply chain processes, from EDI coordination to supplier change management, ensuring an efficient flow of materials in highly demanding global environments. Main activities: Administer material planning using SAP, guaranteeing the availability of materials to meet production demands. Coordinate with suppliers through EDI, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with quality standards. Manage supplier changes, evaluating impacts and implementing necessary adjustments in the planning. Monitor inventory levels, minimizing obsolescence and optimizing storage costs. Analyze demand forecasts and adjust material plans accordingly. Collaborate with different departments to ensure alignment and effective communication. Identify and implement process improvements to optimize the supply chain. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience in material planning and SAP (essential). Knowledge of EDI and its application in supply chain. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Experience in the automotive sector (desirable). We offer: Competitive salary.
